I've been dealing with the same issue lately. The only alternative I found was talking to my parents and making an account under their name. Hmm....maybe an opportunity for a startup to fill this market hole?

@edo1493 Most of the teachers at my school as well discourage us to use wikipedia, which really frustrates me. A lot of my teachers also do not allow us to use any sources that are not an .edu site…
