Hey, just wanted to let you guys know about the FIRST's annual robotics competition. It's basically run by an organization focused on getting this country to wake up, smell the roses, and see the benefit (economically and intellectually) of getting…

Just depends on your learning style. I learn better with reference materials, video tutorials, etc.... tend to get distracted when I'm reading books with this type of content. But that's just the way I learn.

Thanks hahaa. It's been sufficient for the most part but hey, ya never know.

Hi herk-vitela,

Do you know what you want to accomplish with the site? If not, that would be a great place to start and also, the most key part of a website/company. I'm sure there are people here willing to…

Ooo Ouch. XP

Would be cool if they collaborated with facebook to make it more integrated. most people aren't willing to go to a whole new site just to ask questions. At least I probably wouldn't. Everything needs to be…

What are some of your ideas?

Discussion is great. Anything that involves teamwork and leadership can be very beneficial.

And as I mentioned previously, Case Studies could be a great high school educational tool as well. It is a practical application of knowledge and encourages students…

Oh would love to go. But London is rather far from home Hope I can go to Europe soon though.

NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Okay, well... In all honesty, it depends on what type of intelligence you are asking for. Standardized feels a bit primitive but at the same time it does test on necessary information.

What would be interesting is if students…

Haha I see how it is. XP Sooo why do you choose android?

There's definitely been some amazing apps that I've deleted for the sake of a inefficient UI. In fact, this (what i think is new) app, Fathm, has a great concept for a visual approach to time management, however, they're held…

Gwen Brinsmead replied to Check out my startup: Streable Over a year ago

You definitely have the right concept. Great work

So in a sense, you are trying to re-skin the commenting system? Instead of a linear, text based approach, you want to implement a graphical one that presents the conversations in a…

My head. Gets so full of junk and ideas and annoying social issues and hating on the education system that I waste to much time talking bout them.

Oh and of course, there's skype.

The job market, unfortunately, is heavily credential based which makes getting a degree a necessary back-up plan if a startup fails.

I would love if the job market for youth became more achievement based. Something similar to an artist's portfolio…
