Startup49 is the first startup simulation game on facebook and mobile, that connects you with the real world by introducing you to key terms, techniques and websites in order to launch a successful company.

In this facebook game you will run your own virtual startup. You can hire your facebook friends, learn how to manage a company with its core features such as product, money and employees, while playing with your friends in real time.

The Goal: of this game is to be fun for everyone while introducing players not familiar with the startup scene to terms and tools available on the internet. We believe that young people have a lot of potential and introducing them to this business area will promote their creativity and potentially push them into starting their own startup. We are hoping to incorporate actual startup tools such as kickstarter, codecademy and kickofflabs into our levels, and offer crowd services to players that completed the game and are keen on launching their actual idea.

Essentially we will cater to two user groups: 1) Gamers will play this game for fun. They will enjoy being able to hire their friends and try to become the best startup.

2) Potential entrepreneurs will play this game for its informative nature. They will learn about the free tools available to anyone interested in launching a startup and can use the platform to see how their idea is received by facebook friends.
