I just got my PayPal account suspended for the next few months (They finally realized that I was under 18 years of age!). Does anybody know of any alternatives to PayPal to send money besides the old check-in-the-mail?

I've been dealing with the same issue lately. The only alternative I found was talking to my parents and making an account under their name. Hmm....maybe an opportunity for a startup to fill this market hole?
Paypal Student Accounts seem like they could solve that problem. You can also do online payment through some banks (like Bill Pay)
This is very unfortunate, it happened to me as well like two years ago and tried to create new accounts and getting shut down. As Tyler Vanzo said: There should be really an alternative, at least for young people.

Try Dwolla or Stripe.
I was looking for a program to send money to say a friend or to me for a payment of my work. Stripe is great for web payments. Haven't tried Dwolla yet, hmm.
