Acting and product design doesn’t always seem to be in the same category. However, Alexander Bass found a great way of transitioning from acting, including being on the Lion King on Broadway. Bass started in Los Angeles acting and going out on pilot season to act and extend his acting career.

From the start, Bass never had product design as something that was on his mind. However, a friend of his explained to him about the industry. Bass found a similarity with acting and the tech realm. Hollywood was seen as the hub of acting, and he found the connection of Silicon Valley as the hub of technology as something very interesting. This jump started him into the industry and sparked his interest.

Bass came to the area and with the support of friends in the industry, was able to take the job as designer, fulfilling his new interests and creating great new things.
