Next up is Adam Debreczeni, head product designer of Kiip. Adam Debreczeni grew up in a family of engineers, allowing him to express his interest of technology at a very young age. Adam even admits that without his family’s background, his direction in life would have been much different than where he is now.
Fast forward years of going into product design at various other companies, allowing him to learn the ins and outs of design, Debreczeni is now the head product designer of Kiip. Debreczeni admits that hearing rejection did force him to rethink whether or not designing was really something he wanted to get into.
However, he took this as a point of learning to take the advice as a way of humbling him and not having a huge ego. “Lower your ego” is the advice that Debreczeni gave the audience today.

Debreczeni practices what he preaches in this aspect. He was very open to questions, despite our very short time limit, even willing to take questions off stage from aspiring designers, including Gwen, Teens in Tech Incubator team member apart of 7D.
