One thing I love to do is eat out at local restaurants wherever I may be. The process of trying out and finding my next favorite eatery is something I take on a couple of times a week. This means that I am also always on the hunt for the next best restaurant application. When Gregory reported on Ness about 10 months ago, that was the moment when I found what is now one of my favorite apps on iOS. Now, Ness is teaming up with my most favorite application, Instagram, integrating photos into the restaurant hub. What else does the Ness 1.3 include? Let’s look to find out!

A Quick Overview

If you are unfamiliar with both applications, here’s an overview. Instagram is the new, hot photo application that is very simple to use. All you have to do is take a photo with your iOS device. From there, you have a choice of various filters, the ability to add depth of field, and even enhance your photos. Once complete, you can share the photo on Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and more. Ness is the restaurant recommendation application that has an amazing UI. The front page shows where you can choose among various cuisines or search by name, for restaurants in your area.

More About The Integration

Instagram has a huge user following. More than 27 million users are on the application, posting and filtering their mobile photos. Ness saw this as a great opportunity to make Ness an application that not only tells users what restaurants are good, but show them. The modern and clean design of Ness, and the high quality photos of Instagram makes this a match made to last. However, the integration wasn’t the only part of the 1.3 update. Ness has more features they’ve added to make restaurant searching an amazing experience.

A Little Bit About The Update

The new version 1.3 update now makes Ness more navigable and social. When you start up Ness, you will notice that you will be prompted to connect to Facebook and Foursquare. This is optional, however, it’s highly recommended. With the new Facebook security updates, you can set with Ness and your other iOS applications whether or not you want Ness to automatically share or not. Ness becomes more social with the ability to have a profile, and add friends who are on Ness. With Foursquare integration, you can even see where your friends are going now to eat. Have a restaurant you’ve fallen in love with or frequent? Ness now lets you save it as a favorite spot. Ness version 1.3 is the biggest Ness update to date. Don’t miss out, check it out now!
