Teens in Tech Labs’ alum Zachary Collins and Jake Smith, have teamed up to create a new publication covering news in the technology industry. Only a day old, StartupLocker shows some true signs of becoming something interesting — earlier today, StartupLocker was one of the first sites to break the news of Facebook’s latest acquisition of SOFA, a software and design agency.

Currently, StartupLocker consists of Zachary Collins (Founder & CEO), Jake Smith (Editor in Chief), Brad Thompson (Director of Marketing), and Jake Brescia (Writer).

It’ll be very interesting to see how StartupLocker fits in with the hundreds, if not thousands, of other technology related publications on the internet. When eight of Engadget’s top editors decided to leave the publication to start a new partnership with sports publication SBNation, it was clear that the team wanted to change the way technology news was delivered.

We’ll be keeping track of progress on StartupLocker, and hope them the best of luck! Looks like the Teens in Tech Labs’ alumni network is doing quite well!
