Announcing the 2011 Teens in Tech Conference!

by posted on May 25, 2011

Over the last few months, our team has been hard at work preparing for what is going to be our biggest event yet — the 2011 Teens in Tech Conference, happening August 5 at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. Today, the day has come to announce the event, and we can’t be more excited. This year, we’re pulling out all the stops.

After three conferences in San Francisco, we’ve decided to head down south to Palo Alto for this years event. Change is good, right? We wouldn’t have decided to hold an event in Palo Alto if we didn’t have an amazing place to hold it. So, the 2011 Teens in Tech Conference is being held at the historic Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. For those of you who don’t know about the Palo Alto Research Center, it was the place that helped develop laser printing, Ethernet, the modern personal computer, and many others. You can find the full list here.

And this years speakers are fantastic. Andrew Nacin from Audrey Capital, Gregory Koberger from Mozilla, Robert Scoble from Building43, Shreya Indukuri and Daniela Lapidous from SmartPowerEd, Michael Simmons from Flexibits, Andrew Hsu from Airy Labs, Josh Buckley from MinoMonsters, Kevin Hartz from Eventbrite, and Joey Primiani from Cortex. We’ll be announcing a few more speakers in the coming weeks, too.

The 2011 Teens in Tech Conference would not be possible without the help of our amazing sponsors and partners, and this year we have some newcomers. Please welcome General Motors, Meshin, RadTech, STM Bags, SOSReady, Kingston, Palo Alto Research Center and Eventbrite as sponsors of the 2011 Teens in Tech Conference!

With that being said, here comes the tickets and registration. As always, we aim to keep our ticket prices as low as possible to ensure that young entrepreneurs can make it to the conference. So, we’re opening up 50 Early Bird tickets for $30.00 per ticket. We’ll keep the Early Bird tickets up for about four weeks or until they run out. Then we’ll switch over to Regular tickets, which are going for $40.00 per ticket.

If you are a non-profit or an organization that supports young entrepreneurs, please get in touch so we can set you up with a discounted rate.

We hope to see everyone August 5 at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center for the 2011 Teens in Tech Conference! Get your tickets today!
