Over the last six months, many of us at Teens in Tech Labs have been working on a top-secret project. Today, that secret becomes and revealed, and it gives me great honor and pleasure to announce the Teens in Tech Incubator program!

We took a look at programs like Y-Combinator, TechStars, The Founder Institute, etc., and realized that this was a perfect opportunity to help young entrepreneurs with their startups.

We believe that we can help build and foster the next generation of entrepreneurs, by teaching them the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Further, our research and conferences have shown that these skills, insights and networking opportunities are neither being taught nor are they present in traditional classrooms. We are going to help bridge that divide.

The program will run for an intensive 8.5 weeks over the summer here in Silicon Valley, but more importantly, our hope is that the information these young entrepreneurs will learn, and the connections that they make, will help them for the rest of their careers.

We’ll be based in Mountain View, thanks to the support of our partner, Appcelerator. We’ll be providing the five teams that we accept a place to work during the summer (with snacks, drinks, etc.), mentorship, legal advice, office hours with our advisors, and many other things.
