We all know someone who uses Foursquare, Gowalla or the newly launched Facebook Places, but it’s hard to keep track of them all within three different applications. Thankfully, Friends on a Map fixes that issue through the web. With Friends on a Map, you’re able to track where all of your Foursquare, Gowalla and Facebook Places friends are.

You login through each of your accounts, and after logging in, you are greeted with a map with a panel on the left side showing you in list view of where your friends are, their location and which service they checked into.

I see a huge opportunity for a mobile presence with Friends on a Map, as an aggregation service on the go.

Friends on a Map was developed by our very own Spencer Schoeben — now Spencer isn’t the only one in our very talented team to create side projects. For example, Stephen Ou developed iTunes Instant and OneExtraLap while at Teens in Tech. Now, he’s moved on from Teens in Tech (we’ll miss you Stephen!) to focus on his side projects.
